Immerton

You have been called to Immerton, an ancient society of women that exists between space and time. The women gathered here heal, empower, guide, and initiate those who seek to discover and renew themselves. This year, Immerton itself requires healing and renewal. A strange energetic surge has weakened the Immerton leader, fragmented consciousness, and tethered Immerton to earth.

Story

Welcome to Immerton. You have been chosen.

The road to Immerton is not an easy one. Many will seek, but few will find.
Immerton is our sanctuary and our citadel. Immerton is all of us.

We are one, but we are not the same. There is strength in our diversity.

Once you are here, you may return at any time. The sisterhood is always with you.

You have found and been found.

Your break brings you here –– a break-up, break-through, break-open, break-out, break-away, heartbreak, groundbreak, back-break, the mold you broke, the ice you broke, the silence you broke, the dream you broke, the tough break, the breaking point, the break in consciousness. Breaking free.

You have breaks but you are not broken.

Immerton is ancient. Immerton is new. Immerton is forever.

Long ago, in the dreamtime, when the universe was a swirl of dust, four entities merged their consciousnesses to create what we know as the physical world. We now c

all them The Four. Goddesses. Creation, Destruction, Reclamation, and Fortification. Four forces that make, break, rebuild, and strengthen. The four forces of the human will: Innara, Ellishara, Rahdira, and Tohtma.

Immerton is the place where these goddesses reside, where they watch and teach, a place pilgrims and seekers discover, a place alive with the four forces. Here, the goddesses hold court, and maintain the balance of energies to sustain consciousness and the physical world.

The ancient society of Immerton has existed for thousands of years. It is phasic, and can move between multiple universes and times. Spirits co-reside with the corporeal in Immerton, coming and going as they please. All residents and visitors, living or dead, are women. Children are born here, but they are conceived on journeys outside of Immerton in places where Immerton intersects with other worlds. Some choose to live their lives in Immerton; most others come and go, returning as they move through the phases of life to renew, recuperate, regenerate, and restore. Immerton sends its acolytes out into the various physical planes, where they heal, gather, teach, and defend. They are powerful women, but the physical world makes them weary. Immerton exists to give them respite, sisterhood, solidarity, and sustenance.

Immerton is a community where each person is of vital importance to its health, stability, and support. Everyone must work and everyone is rewarded. To each their own ability, to all the fruits of our labor.

Immerton is a place of celebration, of the small daily miracles that enchant and sustain us, of the communal contributions, of the overcoming of obstacles: physical, mental, and spiritual. It is a place where each member is seen, celebrated, and understood.

Immerton does not demand conformity; it welcomes diversity. There is no singular woman. Women are large, multitudinous, voluminous, gloriously varying, all connected through aspects of their consciousness to and through Immerton.

A few weeks ago, Immerton was rocked by an event in another universe. An energetic pulse shattered Immerton’s sacred totem and we have lost our ability to connect to the multiverse, to move between space and time. Our souls and bodies are tethered to this world, to Earth, and this location. There are vortices everywhere and messages that slip through, but neither our shamans nor our seers have been able to reconnect us. Worse, we have lost our connection to each other. Our differences divide us and there has been competition, strife, and arguments among women. Our heads and hearts are aching, and we blame the other. Our eminent leader, Chrylosa, has been weakening and fading since. Our healers cannot seem to help her and every day she grows more fragmented, more frail, more fatigued, more pale. We do not know what caused the surge or why our protections did not hold this time. We have called our acolytes from across the diaspora to gather in Immerton to restore our sacred society. Immerton has given to you; now, you must give to Immerton.
